Skill Tutorial: “Sunder Armor”
This is a quick tutorial to make a skill/state in RPG Maker MV that works similarly to the Sunder Armor skill in World of Warcraft. To create this state you will need the following four Yanfly plugins: Core Engine , Battle Engine Core, Buffs & States Core and Base Parameter Control. Create a new state with the properties Remove at Battle End and Auto-removal Timing on “Turn End”. You can then set the Duration in Turns to determine how many turns the state should last. I set mine to 3 turns. That’s it in terms of the default settings. Next you have to set a Custom Apply Effect and a Custom Remove Effect in the state’s Note box like this:

In this configuration the spell can stack up to 5 times. Each stack reduces the target’s defense by 10%. You can change the values “5” and “0.1” to make them fit your needs. I have included the 3 files you have mentioned and added them in the proper order.
I get the following error when I attempt to use the skill that would apply the effect:

Hi Gan. Thanks for your suggestion. I forgot to reference Yanfly’s Base Parameter Control plugin. I updated the description. After including this plugin it should work.
